A social media whisper turned into a roaring campaign
It all started with an eagle eye – our community manager's, to be precise. While scouring the online landscape for Nesquik mentions, they stumbled upon a rising college football star, his passion for Nesquik strawberry milk shining through every tagged post. The way fans resonated with his enthusiasm was undeniable. But back then, in pre-NIL days, interaction was limited. However, our community manager saw an opportunity brewing, nurturing a connection that would soon blossom.
Fast forward to draft day, and that college star, now a household name (drumroll please...), DK Metcalf, was ready to take his love for Nesquik to the next level. The 'Keep on Chuggin' campaign was born, and our creative team got to work, their goal: capture DK's energy, his bond with his little brother, and the joy of chugging that iconic chocolate milk. The result? A series of assets that hit the mark, leaving audiences saying, "Now that's how you chug!"
The "Keep on Chuggin'" movement wasn't a one-hit wonder. Fueled by a social media engagement explosion of higher engagements and impressions, Nesquik craved more. They needed another young athlete to amplify the energy. Enter Frances Tiafoe, a rising tennis star whose infectious charisma and on-court grit perfectly mirrors spirit. Our community manager had struck gold again. This time, we dreamt up a series of on-court assets that showcased Frances's talent, personality, and, of course, his love for Nesquik.
